🕊️ Moksha - Dignity in Final Goodbyes
Restoring Respect, Even After Life
Moksha is a humanitarian initiative by Silverline Foundation dedicated to ensuring that no unclaimed or abandoned individual is deprived of their final rites. We believe that dignity is a basic human right—one that must be honored even in death.
Through this initiative, we work with hospitals, local authorities, and communities to take responsibility for unclaimed bodies and ensure they are given respectful last rites with care, compassion, and cultural sensitivity.
Key Focus Areas:
-
Identification and support for unclaimed or abandoned deceased individuals
-
Respectful cremation and completion of last rites
-
Coordination with authorities to ensure legal compliance
-
Performance of rituals with dignity and sensitivity
-
Immersion of ashes in the sacred Ganga River
Moksha is a final act of humanity — ensuring that no one leaves this world without respect, remembrance, and peace.
🔁 Second Chance – From uncertainty to a future with purpose
Restoring Hope, Building Skills, and Enabling New Beginnings
Silverline Foundation’s Second Chance program works with children in conflict with the law, in alignment with the principles of the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015, focusing on rehabilitation, skill-building, and positive social reintegration.
Our intervention combines structured life skills sessions with basic vocational training to equip young individuals with practical abilities that promote independence, responsibility, and dignity.
The program complements ongoing efforts within child care institutions by strengthening readiness for reintegration into society.
Key Focus Areas:
-
Communication and interpersonal development
-
Emotional regulation and self-management
-
Decision-making and problem-solving skills
-
Development of discipline, responsibility, and daily routine
-
Basic vocational training (such as housekeeping and related practical skills)
-
Positive behavior reinforcement and confidence building
-
Industry exposure and placement linkage support, where feasible
We also work towards connecting trained individuals with entry-level livelihood opportunities through partnerships with local businesses and service providers, enabling a smoother transition from institutional care to independent living.
The program aims to create a foundation for self-reliance by combining behavioral development with hands-on skill training and real-world opportunities.
Because every young life deserves a second chance to learn, grow, and build a better future.
