We recognise that each person is endowed with Human Rights as recognised in the "Universal Declarationon of Human Rights" and that all people are born free and equal in dignity and rights (Article 1) and should be sensitive to the moral values, religion, customs, traditions and cultures of the communities they serve. Recognising that the families are a fundamental natural group unit of society promoting Human Rights and Human Dignity (Article 16), we respect the integrity of the families as well as individuals right of Freedom of thought, conscience and religion (Article 18).
We recongnise that our ngo is accountable t the communities we serve while promoting values of transparency, information shared is accurate, and we strongly oppose corruption, bribery and other financial illegalities.
We are transparent in our relation with the government, public, donors and other interested parties. Our basic financial information, governance structure, activities shall be open and accessible to the public. We commit to inform the public about our work, origin and use of our resources.
Silverline does not operate for the purpose of business unrelated to the mission and stated objectives therefore to maintain our integrity as an ngo. We are formed as "Not for profit" organisation, with any surplus generated through our operations being solely utilised to help the organisation fulfill its mission and objectives.
Accountability / Responsibility
We are accountable for our actions and decisions, in the communities we serve, as well as to our funding agencies, the government, the staff and the volunteers, members and other stake holders.
We are responsible to the public and therefore at all times take ownership of the tasks on hand, taking the initiative and remain practical for pulling resources of all types in order to find and implement feasible solutions.
